Math is Everywhere in Scripture!
SUBTRACTION (1 John 3:5) “and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book” (Rev. 22:19).
MULTIPLICATION (2 Cor. 9:10) “But the word of God grew and multiplied” (Acts 12:24).
DIVISION (1 Cor. 1:10) “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Tim. 2:15).
To students, math teachers commonly say something like, “You need to know these things because math is used everywhere in life.” Interestingly, the Lord conveys a similar concept spiritually – and that’s a lesson you can “count” on.
